Allow me to introduce myself, I’m Kana Brown *waves*
I believe the world would be a much better place if we all felt safe enough to follow our passions.
The first time I felt brave enough to follow a passion is when I wanted to work on a cruise ship. That didn’t quite pan out the way I thought it would, but following that urge led me to a career in esthetics.
The Beauty Room in Evansville, Indiana is a little haven that came into fruition by continuing to take steps to places my passion was leading me. That little voice that kept saying, “try this” and “you’re excited about that” unlocked so many doors for me. This tiny haven for just me, grew into a place for others to also follow their callings too.
So while it may seem that learning holistic skincare, nutrition, creating a magazine, sound therapy, creating a co-work space for beauty professionals and human design have nothing in common, there is a common denominator.
It all comes down to being committed to creating space for humans to follow their passions simply by walking alongside them saying + proving that anyone can do it too.
Collaborating, connecting and celebrating people in my community and beyond is what I believe I was made for. Helping humans create a new reality for themselves is on my “best at” list.
This space is meant for play! I love sharing the things I learn along the way of just living.
On an even more personal note: I’m having fun venturing back into seeing more of the world- I absolutely love to travel. When I’m not helping you- I’m a streaming service binge queen or causing chaos “in the streets” in a town near you.
